Server Data

For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted by your internet browser to us or to our web hosting provider. These so-called server log files include the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you accessed our website (referrer URL), the pages of our website that you visit, the date and time of each access, and the IP address of the internet connection from which our website is used.

This collected data is stored temporarily, but not together with other personal data.

This storage is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website.

Data processing takes place on servers in GDPR-compliant EU data centers. Data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place with all data center operators.

The data is deleted after seven days at the latest, unless further retention is required for evidentiary purposes. Otherwise, the data is partially or fully exempt from deletion until the final resolution of an incident.

Web Analytics

We use Umami, a self-hosted, privacy-friendly open-source web analytics tool. Umami does not use cookies, does not store personal data in your browser, and does not transfer data to third parties. Your browser's "Do Not Track" signal is respected.

When using our website, the following data is collected: page views, interactions (e.g., clicks on navigation and contact elements), language used, IP address (processed server-side to determine approximate location at country/city level, but not stored in raw form), and general browser and device information (user agent, screen resolution, operating system).

The collected analytics data is stored on our own infrastructure in EU data centers. Data is retained for 12 months and then automatically deleted.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of website usage to improve our services).

Contact

When you contact us by email, the data you provide (your email address, name if applicable, and your message) will be stored by us to process your inquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). The data will be deleted once your inquiry has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Provision of Personal Data

The provision of personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. You can generally use our website without providing any personal data.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data. Box 20 04 44, 40102 Düsseldorf, Germany.
