Weight ticket pair in MEGAN with shipping line, booking number, ETA and tracking

An overseas shipment in MEGAN.

Seven steps, and the data is entered once. Each step reads what the step before it wrote.

  1. Weight ticket with container and seals

Container number and seal numbers are recorded on the ticket as the container is loaded.

  2. Pair with shipping line, booking and ETA

The sales ticket is paired with the purchase ticket. Shipping line, booking number and ETA sit on the pair.

  3. Live tracking until arrival

The arrival status of each container is shown on the pair. Overviews filter by shipping line, booking number and ETA.

  4. Annex VII in the editor, filed with DiWaSS

Annex VII is generated from the shipment data, adjusted in the editor if needed, versioned, and filed with DiWaSS.

  5. VGM and packing list

Verified gross mass and packing list from the same data. Nothing retyped.

  6. Bill of lading on file

Draft and final bill of lading are stored on the pair.

  7. Invoice and settlement

Invoice from the pair. The status bar moves from allocated through scheduled, documented and invoiced to settled.

Documents from the data, not from a template folder

Annex VII, VGM and packing list are generated from the weight ticket and the pair. The Annex VII editor lets you adjust fields and keeps every version.

Codes (AVV, Basel, HS) and Incoterms come from maintained master data.

DiWaSS filing built in

From 1 January 2027 every Annex VII for a cross-border waste shipment in the EU has to be filed in the Digital Waste Shipment System. MEGAN files yours with DiWaSS, and we also help with the registration.

How MEGAN handles DiWaSS
